The University of Bristol Conference Office team is proud of its reputation for delivering high levels of service for event management, which complements our high standards of venue and accommodation provision.

This puts the Conference Office team in a strong position to draw on a wealth of experience to offer our customers the widest possible spectrum of service choice.

We have the capability to manage events from concept to on-site management, and to support our clients with advice designed to ensure their events are a great success.  

Here’s a taste of what we can offer:

Admin support

We are often asked to provide help with event administration for everything from the production of table plans and place cards, to the preparation of sponsorship proposals. Typically, we support registration services with tasks like emailing or posting invitations and registration forms; preparing mail merges; personalising letters and much more. 

We’ll even manage telemarketing for our clients, in which we contact invitees, and manage response databases etc.

Naturally, most clients want to see detailed reports.

Delegate Registration

We are frequently asked to provide delegate registration services too. We manage booking forms; send-out confirmations; process payments, and issue invoices. We also produce name badges and supply staff to look after on-site delegate registration. Sometimes our clients want ‘meeting and greeting services’ too, typically at Bristol International Airport or Bristol Temple Meads Station.

Audio visual equipment

If your event calls for any kind of audio or visual equipment, we are happy to offer quotes to provide the equipment you need. We’ll even supply a technician to run it too, so just let us know.

And finally....

We can also research, make recommendations, provide quotes and book Transport (coaches, limousines, taxis); engage Entertainment ( musicians, discos, comedy acts, guest speakers); offer Themes (props, backdrops, fancy dress costumes); run Team building activities;  provide Corporate gifts for delegates;  produce Delegate bags and packs; and add finishing creative touches like  Decorations (flowers, table displays).................and there’s more.
