University of Bristol Centre for Deaf Studies is pleased to announce its latest lifelong learning course for British Sign Language interpreters - Putting interpreting theory into practiceThe Centre for Deaf Studies (CDS) at the University of Bristol has been training interpreters for the last two decades. Unfortunately, not everyone who trains to become an interpreter has the opportunity to take time out to study in a Higher Education Institution. This 'Putting Theory into Practice' course offers the chance for those who have never studied the theoretical side of translation and interpreting in a University setting to gain valuable theoretical insights which will relate directly to their everyday work as professionals.
The Centre for Deaf Studies Lifelong Learning Programme provides accredited British Sign Language courses, courses in Deaf Studies, Deafhood Studies and specialist British Sign Language interpreting courses.
The Centre for Deaf Studies Lifelong Learning Programme also provides bespoke courses, for more information about our bespoke courses please complete our short contact form.
