Dental Foundation Training (DF1)
Graduate dental students complete 1 year of vocational training at a specially selected general dental practice. We administrate all DF1 training that takes place in the south west and are the first contact for the dental trainees, their trainers and tutors.
We oversee those undertaking Senior House Officer and Specialty Registrar roles in hospitals within the region. All currently available posts are advertised on our home page
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
We provide a range of CPD courses for dentists and dental care professionals in venues across the South West. Please visit our online course booking system to view and register on forthcoming courses and follow the CPD links on our homepage for further resources.
Bristol Open Learning for Dentists
We also offer Dental Practitioners the opportunity to study a particular subject at greater depth via our distance learning programme. There are currently 11 units available, with the option to gain a Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Studies by completing 3 units within 5 years.
