19/10/08 We've had a busy week in Marrow, ending with our training evening organised by Nick. We've had lots of interest, and hope to see our freshly trained counsellors to future clinics! Thanks to all who were involved.
18/10/08 We took to the streets of Bristol to collect money for the ANT, and raised just over £125! Thanks to all that came along and to all those that donated!

24/05/08 Bristol Marrow host the Regional AGM, where Marrow societies from Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter and Swansea discuss Marrow-related news and throw in a nice little social too!

17/10/07 Bristol Marrow are a training session for anybody interested in being a Marrow Counsellor (facilitating people joining the register of people willing to donate bone marrow). The training session will cover the theory behind counselling people interested in joining the register, as well as taking people through the practicalalities of doing this.
The date for this event is Tuesday the 23rd of October at 7.30pm at the Dolphin House Bar (DHB) at the Bristol Royal Infirmary. This is accessed by using the blue door on the left coming down Upper Maudlin Street, just after the entrance to the King's Building, right next to the ramp and car parking spaces. The door will be open with somebody guiding people in. Directions to the Bristol Royal Infirmary can be found here). Hope to see you there!
13/10/07 Our recent gig at Joe Public's was an overwhelming success!! Not only did we raise over £700, many people showed a strong interest in our cause and, from what we have heard, people enjoyed themselves too! Thanks to all those that came and for those of you who didn't, keep an eye on the photos page for a peek at how it went.
27/09/07 Bristol Marrow is holding a Jazz-Funk-Soul gig at Joe Public's Music Lounge on Wednesday 10th October. Tickets are £3.50 before the night, and £5 on the door. See the Facebook group for more info

Also look out for new changes around the Bristol Marrow website in general, due to take place over the coming weeks. 28/03/07 Attention all counsellors! There is now a counsellors page on Bristol Marrow's website. This currently includes the training pack for all volunteers, a reminders card for counselling along with the minutes from Bristol Marrow's committee meetings. Please navigate yourself to it and check it out!
28/03/07 The money is still in the process of being counted but it's looking like the fundraising has been very successful this year! The bag pack at Sainsbury's took in a revenue of £400 so well done to all those who helped out!
28/03/07 A belated thank you to all of those who helped out at the gym clinic. 23 people were signed onto the register - ending the year definitely on a high and bringing our annual total to 148 people signed up over the course of the entire year. A massive thanks and well done to all those who participated! We look forward to working with many of you next year.
