Before your exam day
Before your exam make sure you're ready and have the information you need.
Your conduct in exams
Make sure you know what is and what is not expected of you in an exam. Our Code of Conduct for Examinations (Office document, 26kB) gives information about how you are expected to behave. Read this in addition to our formal Exam Regulations (PDF, 102kB). See also our University's position on examination offences.
- Check your timetable
Make sure you've got your student UCard. You are required to bring it to all your examinations and display it on your desk so an invigilator can check it.
You will be allocated a numbered desk for each of your exams at which you must sit. Your desk number will be shown on an updated exam timetable which will be reissued a few days before the exam period starts. You will be emailed when the seat numbers are released and you need to remember your seat number for each exam. If you sit at the wrong desk, you risk being registered as absent for that exam.
Familiarise yourself with our Exam Regulations (PDF, 102kB).
