Applications now open for Bristol's 2018 festival of postgraduate research
5 January 2018
Postgraduate research students are invited to apply to take part in Research without Borders 2018 - our flagship festival of research
Research without Borders - the University of Bristol’s annual festival of postgraduate research - is back for 2018. We warmly invite all postgraduate research students (PGRs) to apply to take part in this unique opportunity to showcase your research.
Do you want to share why your research really matters with a diverse audience, including prospective employers, funders and the wider public? Do you want to connect with other researchers from across disciplines? Do you want to develop your communication skills and think about the impact your work could have on the world? If so, this is perfect opportunity for you.
Last year, 100 PGRs from across a wide number of disciplines took part in the festival. The video below provides an overview of the 2017 Research without Borders showcase exhibition in Colston Hall.
The 2018 festival will take place from the 30 April to the 9 May and will include a series of interdisciplinary discussions led by PGRs and a showcase exhibition in the Colston Hall. The festival is organised by the Bristol Doctoral College in collaboration with the University Research Institutes. Bespoke training and support is provided for all participants.
