My love for the 'Human Story' has developed over many years. During this time I have enjoy teaching talented Postgraduate Students from around the world. I count myself very fortunate to have supervised hundreds of interesting films produced by our film students on this, the oldest, highly respected film course, in British Universities.

My main areas of teaching are Cinematography/Film and Video, Lighting and Location Skills.

Over the past years I have taken opportunities to 'Practice What I Preach'. I have been involved in many documentary films, a number of them shot in foreign locations. Including a series of 'shorts', filmed in Japan. I will be returning to shoot there again this year.

I also enjoy making my own films. I am currently in production and researching a variety of fascinating human stories and subjects. These productions/research projects include: Tourettes/OCD/Blindness/Abuse/Classical Music/Creativity. History. 'Jake's Story'. Language. Olympic Quest. Survival/Guilt.......
