I am a 2ndyear Ph.D student working within the Geophysics group and a member of the Bristol Microseismic Projects (BUMPS) at the Earth Sciences department.

My research aims to better understand the physics of induced seismicity by hydraulic fracturing using tools from observational seismology. I analyse characteristics of the seismic source from the far field source-spectrum which can be interpreted as a signature of the rupture mechanics at the source. These source-characteristics can be used to interpret key attributes such as the stress drop.
