Marina Gall, Graduate School of Education, with colleagues Gerhard Sammer and Adri de Vugt, have launched a new book called 'European Perspectives on Music Education: New Media in the Classroom'.
We hope that the book stimulates further discussion on the effective use of technology in music classrooms - between members of the EAS and other music educators across the globe.
The book launches a new series supported by the European Association for Music in Schools for which Marina is National Co-ordinator. It is the first to map the use of technology in music education across Europe, featuring information about 14 countries.
Marina Gall commented: "It is fascinating to learn of the different ways in which ICT is used to support musical learning in such a wide range of countries. We hope that the book stimulates further discussion on the effective use of technology in music classrooms - between members of the EAS and other music educators across the globe".
