This project examines the implications of globalisation for education and training systems in Rwanda and Tanzania. The research involves interviews with key stakeholders from all sectors of society concerning the skills required by globalisation ; the capacity of the education and training systems to deliver those skills; the implications for equity of changing skill requirements; and the impact of cultural norms and values on skill development strategies
