Dr Ruth Deakin Crick

Impact

My research is characterised by inter-disciplinarity, plural methodologies and theoretical rigour. My peer reviewed publications include statistical analyses, philosophical position papers, qualitative and narrative research and professional articles.  I have made a significant, international contribution to our understanding of generative relationships between research, practice, policy and enterprise, and can demonstrate pathways to impact through data from over 50,000 learners in pre-school, school , HE  and work settings across four continents who have participated in learning communities of practice as a direct result of my work and intellectual leadership. I am the originator of the Learning Warehouse, a ground breaking, web-based system for data capture and exchange which provides feedback for personal change, pedagogical diagnostics, organisational learning and pure research. A charitable company, ViTaL Partnerships,  formed to disseminate my work now has an inter-nationally influential Board of Trustees, and is led by a former head of global learning for an international Engineering Company.
