CeNTraL is a collaborating site of the International Association of Qualitative Inquiry and several centre staff and students are founder members of IAQA.. Representatives of CeNTraL have attended the conference every year, including Tim Bond, Laurinda Brown, Daniel Docherty, Kim Etherington, Ken Gale, Cindy Gowan, Ying Lin Hung, Viv Martin, Malcolm Reed, Mclean Percy, Sue Porter, Ann Rippin, Artemi Sakellariadis, Jane Speedy and Jonathan Wyatt.
In 2011, Jane speedy will be keynote speaker at the pre-conference psychology day. Ken and Jonathan will be presenting a pre-conference workshop. We will be presenting plenaries on our Peirre Riviere project with Bronwyn Davies, a live critical book review panel with Patti Lather and a range of papers and presentations of our own. In 2010, 15 people attended the conference from Bristol (and associated colleagues). You can read the 2010 Blog on: QI 2010 Blog. We presented at two plenaries, a live book review and in eight additional panel presentations.
In 2009, there were seven of us presenting a plenary paper and engaged in a variety of other presentations and panels. Two CeNTraL graduates, Ken Gale and Jonathon Wyatt, were runners up for the qualitative dissertation award that year.
