EthicNet

EthicNet is a forum for GSoE staff and students to engage with ethical issues arising from their research. EthicNet has no formal membership: all staff and students are invited to participate in any relevant activity.

EthicNet aims to work collegially, drawing on the diverse research activities in the GSoE, to support the development of ethical mindfulness as part of our research culture, such as through the recent CLIO Research Day 'Ethical issues in educational research' held on 3rd March 2009.

EthicNet seeks to:

• provide a source of information
• facilitate shared discussion, reflection and learning
• contribute to sensitive, supportive ethical procedures
