The proposed research seminar series will discuss the contemporary debates over the form and function of the university and how the ever-changing social and political environments are embedded in university governance and management. The seminar series will adopt a multi-disciplinary approach to understand how the idea of the 'Third Mission', the duties carried out by the universities other than teaching and research, is understood and utilised by varying groups of individuals.
