Welcome Week 2018

Welcome week commences on Monday 24th September and gives you a chance to get used to your new environment and prepare for the year ahead. You will have time to:

  • Attend welcome and induction events
  • Complete administrative tasks
  • Take part in social events
  • Visit the Students’ Union Welcome Fair on Friday 28th September where you can join student clubs and societies
  • Find your way around the University Campus and the main buildings you will be using.

We see Welcome Week as the start of welcoming you to a new community and therefore in addition to the activities listed on the Welcome Week timetables we will be making activity sheets available to all students to encourage you to find out more about your programme, the School, the University and the City.

Saturday Welcome Day for Part Time Students

In recognition of the large number of part-time students who will be joining us alongside those juggling jobs with their study, we will continue to run a Saturday registration session which will take place on the 29th September. To help us plan ahead for Saturday Welcome Day please sign up here.
