Recent research shows that the east sides of major UK cities have historically been the poorest due to industrial pollution. This has resulted in unequal distribution of social classes across cities that is still evident today.

At Bristol, we challenge ourselves and our students to think critically and creatively.

For 2017/18, we are delighted to offer three new programmes: MSc Management (Entrepreneurship), MSc Management (International Business) and MSc Management (Marketing).

Our Department of Management is entering an exciting period of growth which is creating new academic opportunities. We are seeking high-calibre, original thinkers and innovators to help us pioneer a cutting-edge department and school.

Our ongoing research focus is to address critically the significant changes that face individuals, organisations, communities and policymakers in the 21st century.

Economics was for me the perfect subject to study, as it allowed me to write essays, whilst also being mathematical. I am more than happy to have chosen Economics, as it is an extremely interesting course.
