The ERASMUS programme was set up by the European Union to give undergraduates the opportunity to study for part of their degree at a university in another EU country. Students on a 'with Study in Continental Europe' course have the opportunity to study abroad during their third year before returning to the University of Bristol to complete their degree.
We currently offer three Study in Continental Europe degrees. Students can either study in English (at Copenhagen Business School), or in the native language of the country in which they are studying.
The Erasmus scheme is a reciprocal programme and students do not have to pay fees to their host university for their year abroad. Details of the University of Bristol fees can be found on the fees and funding webpage.
Please note that, while we have links with two partner universities in each of France and Spain, these agreements are for a fixed number of places and we are not always able to accommodate all wishes with respect to specific location choices within these countries. In case of excess demand for one location, places are allocated randomly. At the time of allocation you will be able to indicate a preferred location, but should be prepared to go to either destination.

Study abroad in English
For courses with Study in English, the School of Economics, Finance and Management has a partnership with Copenhagen Business School (CBS) in Denmark.
The school was established in 1917 and today it is one of the largest business schools in Europe, with over 20,000 students and 1,500 employees. One year at Copenhagen Business School can enhance students' university experience providing them with an international perspective.
