Bristol Workshops on Economic Policy Interventions and Behaviour: Development Day

13 May 2019, 10.00 AM - 13 May 2019, 6.30 PM

Keynote: Michael Kremer, Harvard University

Location: Howard House, University of Bristol, Clifton

‌Topic: "Development"

The BEPIB workshops focus on high-quality empirical research related to two important questions: What are the fundamentals behind treatment effects of policy interventions? How do incentives created by social and economic policies affect individual behaviour?

The workshops showcase innovative research using detailed survey and register data, clever research designs, sophisticated econometrics or theoretical structures to empirically uncover the behavioural impacts of policies. The presented work usually falls in the area of applied micro and its findings should enable improved policy design.
