Bristol Economics Students reach finals at AAB International Conference

Undergraduate students selected as top 10 finalists for Case Study Competition in Seoul.
The team of three which included Donghoon Yang and Joon Park (University of Bristol) and Ashley Yi-Wei Tay (University of Manchester) were invited to Seoul, Korea to present and compete for the top prize at the AAB International Conference 2017. They were joined by Dr. Babak Somekh, Senior Teaching Fellow, Department of Economics as their advisor at the conference which was hosted by SKKU Business School on 11th - 12th August.
The competition involved groups from Universities in the US, Europe and Asia. The final 10 teams included teams from Cambridge, Warwick and NYU (as well the group from Bristol). The Best award went to the team from the University of Cambridge and 2nd best award went to the team from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
