Chris Chapman is Professor of Management Accounting.

Chris is an editor of Accounting, Organizations and Society and is the President of the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management.

Gaining his degrees from the London School of Economics, prior to joining Bristol Chris was Professor at the University of Oxford, Imperial College London and Copenhagen Business School.

Research

Having previously researched the ways in which people work to make accounting relevant to operational decision making in a variety of contexts including restaurants and professional service firms, Chris' current research focuses on the design of cost systems for healthcare providers.

Chris is an editor of Accounting, Organizations and Society and is the President of the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management.
