Testing DSGE Models via Indirect Inference; Make Lectures Match How We Learn: The Nonlinear Teaching Approach (with Peng Zhou)

Personal profile

I have received a BSc, MSc, and PhD in Economics (sponsored by the ESRC) and an MRes in Advanced Economics from Cardiff University. Currently, I am a Teaching Fellow in Economics at the University of Bristol.  Pedagogically, my research interests lie in innovative teaching methods in large and small groups. More specifically, I am interested in the challenges of young lecturers in teaching large number of students in a lecture theatre. My academic interest is in macroeconomics and I am working on methods (more specifically on Indirect Inference) for testing a DSGE models which includes financial development indicators as promoters of economic growth. Other experience involves working for the Office for National Statistics as a summer intern.
