Dr Dimitris Karamitros was born in May 1981, in Athens, Greece, where he completed his undergraduate education. He holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering (2004) and a PhD Degree (2010) from the National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A.), where he has also worked as a Post-Doctorate Researcher (2010-2013). In parallel, he has worked as a Scientific Associate of the Department of Civil and Construction Engineering Educators, of the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education (A.S.PE.T.E.) of Athens (2012-2013), as well as as a freelance Civil Engineer and Geotechnical Consultant (since 2005).
