MSc Advanced Computing - Creative Technology
This programme aims to develop the student's interest in and knowledge and understanding of the advanced technologies used to mount complex secure applications.
- Produce computer professionals who are familiar with graphics, animation, and interaction and are able to produce solutions for problems in sourcing, presenting and managing digital media information.
- Equip graduates for a wide variety of employment in computing, business and the entertainment industry
- Give graduates the opportunity to be leaders of the media revolution and its emerging technologies
- Give graduates the knowledge and experience to continue studying for a PhD, or to enter a career in research.
Semester 1:
Character and Set Design; Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing; Animation Production; Image Processing and Computer Vision; plus Programming in C or both Databases and Algorithmic and Economic Aspects of the Internet.
Semester 2:
Research Skills & Design; Robotic Systems; Computer Graphics; Production Project; Computational Neuroscience.
