Over £300 Raised for Children in Need

Each year, BBC Children in Need raises millions, thanks to the generosity of people all over the UK. The 2008 Appeal was no exception. Bristol Site Services Staff (Steve, Dave and Ed, pictured), all gave their time and pitched in to raise a fantastic amount of over £300, in just a few hours. In fancy dress, with a fun Pirates theme, the trio delighted staff, students and visitors alike, as they held the fort at Merchant Venturers Building, on Friday 14 November 2008. The team were out and about again on Friday 13 March 2009, this time for Red Nose Day 2009. With Dave in magnificent period costume and bright red noses donned by all, over £80 was successfully collected in a very short time. A very big thank you to everyone, for contributing to both of these worthwhile causes. |
