From video games to robots, come along to our events and see what our Computer Science students have been working on this year.
Finalist Poster Day
Wednesday 19 April, 2 – 5pm, Bill Brown Design Suite, Woodland Road, Bristol, BS8 1TH
A selection of our BSc and MEng students will be presenting their final year research projects covering a wide range of Computer Science research.
From mathematics and algorithms, cybersecurity and computer vision to Human-Computer Interaction, and everything in between, students will present posters of their interim findings and be available to talk about their work.

Computer Science in the City

Our second year undergraduate Computer Science students will share their software engineering projects, completed with an external client. Join us to hear about some of this year’s projects and find out how you could have our talented students solve your software development challenges.

Interactive Devices Showcase
Wednesday 3 May, 10 – 12am, Merchant Venturers Building, Woodland Road, Bristol, BS8 1UB
Year 3 and 4 students demonstrate the creations they’ve made for their Interactive Devices unit, exploring novel interaction techniques including drones, huggable robots and expressing emotions through interactions.
Drop in throughout the session and try out what their teams have built.
Tuesday 9 May, 1 – 5pm, Merchant Venturers Building, Woodland Road, Bristol, BS8 1UB
See and play computer games made by our Year 3 MEng students as part of their Team Project!
Seven teams of students will be showcase games including VR and AR adventures, the Druid Drum Circle, multi-player video games and a physical interaction monster game.
