Dr Djamel Rezgui is a lecturer and a research investigator at the University of Bristol, with interests in nonlinear dynamics of aeroelastic oscillatory aero-systems, aeroacoustics and bio-inspired systems, as well as design of new eVTOL concepts. He worked closely with Leonardo Helicopters on the use of novel mathematical tools to study the complicated nonlinear aeroelastic characteristics of helicopter active rotor systems. He also worked with Airbus and other partners on novel high aspect ratio wing concepts involving folding wing tip devices for gust load alleviation.
