An awards ceremony was held on 9 November 2010 in Royal Fort House for new engineering undergraduate students from overseas who achieved A*AA at A level or the international equivalent. Professor Nick Lieven, Dean of Engineering, hosted the occasion and academic representatives from each department also attended.
Professor Lieven said of the event: "The criteria for these scholarships was even harder this year than last, and yet still we had many winners. This reflects the high calibre of our overseas students - congratulations to all of them."
