The Ultrasonics and NDT group has strong established research links with some of the most important companies in the UK and abroad. The group's research strategy involves close collaboration with industry to ensure the more fundamental research is relevant to the medium to longer-term needs of industry. We see this mix of fundamental and applied as incredibly valuable and our aim is to see selected topics through from conception to industrial uptake.
