Erasmus and Study Abroad programme

Students from Europe with the Erasmus Scheme, or from further afield with the Study Abroad Scheme have the opportunity to study for a year at the University of Bristol's Faculty of Engineering.

We recommend that you study at Bristol for the third year of a four year degree course. Most of our Erasmus and Study Abroad students come to Bristol for the full academic year. It is also possible to study for a single semester at the discretion of the department and partner institution, and you would need to check this with your home institution and the relevant departmental coordinator at Bristol.

We only accept Erasmus and Study Abroad students from Partner Universities. Your home institution will advise you on our entry requirements, including overall marks so far, your ability to study in English and any other prerequisites. You can find out more about entry requirements, how to apply, study guides and student experiences on our Erasmus and Study Abroad pages.

English courses are also available while at Bristol.

Our International Office can provide further information on these programmes, or email the Incoming Erasmus and Study Abroad help desk.
