Sponsored by the National Heart Forum, the Department presents the 2008 Jerry Morris Lecture.  Dr Susan Jebb will speak on "obesity: the public health challenge".  All are welcome and there is no need to book.  The lecture is being held in the Physics Enderby Lecture Theatre, H.H Wills Physics Laboratory, 5:30-7:00pm on Tuesday 19 February.  This is building number 33 on the precinct map and directly opposite the Centre for Sport, Exercise and Health (building number 42).  The evening will also include the presentation of the Lifetime Health and Fitness Awards to MSc students graduating in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Public Health.
