Laura holds a BSc (Hon) in Exercise and Health Sciences from the University of Portsmouth and an MSc in Physical Activity and Health from Loughborough University.

She spent some time working as a Fieldworker/Data Assistant for the MRC Social and Public Health Sciences Unit on DASH, a study investigating social and biological influences on ethnic differences in health and well-being in adolescence.

Laura joined the Exercise, Nutrition and Health department at Bristol University in 2006 and spent three hugely enjoyable years as a Research Assistant on the PEACH Project. After a brief foray into the world of Clinical Trials, Laura has recently returned to the department in the role of Co-ordinator on the Bristol Girls Dance Project.

Outside of work, Laura devotes her time to training and competing at eventing as well as fitting in the odd tennis match and a few priceless weeks skiing each winter.
