Glass

Glass makes up around 7% of the total waste stream at the University and the majority of this glass can be recycled. You can recycle glass bottles and jars, cleaned laboratory glass and drinking glasses. The majority of University buildings have external glass bins. Site Services do not collect glass at the University, it is your responsibility to arrange for your glass to be taken to these external bins.

Once collected the glass is recycled in the UK.
