Paper
Paper should be reused by using both sides before it is recycled. Place all non confidential paper into blue paper recycling bin located within offices. The bins are emptied by Site Services as required. You can recycle all paper in your blue recycling bin including.
- White and coloured office paper
- Newspapers and magazines
- Pamphlets, brochures and leaflets
- Telephone Directories and books - small quantities only please, do not over load the bin with these as it could be a manual handing issue for the cleaners.*
- Post-it-notes
- Envelopes with and without windows
*If you have large volumes of books, journals, publications or directories please contact sustainability-estates@bristol.ac.uk for a special collection.
Paper is recycled into more paper products in the UK.
If paper is confidential it must be disposed of using the University's procedure for the disposal of confidential waste paper.
