The University Teaching Fellowship Scheme aims to raise the profile of teaching and learning by supporting and valuing individuals who make an outstanding impact on the student learning experience at the University of Bristol.
Three University Teaching Fellowships (to commence from the following August) are awarded through open competition to members of academic staff to facilitate their ability to spend a dedicated period of time (up to one year) on pedagogical research and disseminating innovative and high-quality teaching and learning practices at a national (or even international) level. The Scheme has been approved by Education Committee and Senate.
The Scheme is open to applications from 9th January 2012, whilst the University deadline for submission is 13th February 2012, though faculties may set their own deadlines for submission prior to this date. The recipients of the Fellowships will be formally announced at the University's Learning and Teaching Exhibition which will take place on 27th March 2012.
