Changes to programmes and the approval of new programmes can take place throughout the academic year but there are deadlines that apply to the accurate provision of information at unit and programme level.
Where proposals are not approved in time to meet the deadlines, there will be consequences for the quality of the information used to inform central systems and processes. Inaccurate programme and unit data will mean the systems relying on this data will be less effective, for example, SITs, timetabling, online unit registration, Blackboard, unit and programme catalogues.
The University approved Annual Education and Students Cycle can be found on the Academic Registry Policies, Guidance and Procedures webpage.
