Hilary Griffiths

VLE Operational Manager with responsibility for:

• ensuring effective staff support for Blackboard
• development of the Blackboard service, including project management, bid writing, liaison with external suppliers e.g. Blackboard Mobile Learn
• liaison with IT Services,  e.g. member of the Portal Steering Group, involvement with the SITS Improvement Programme
• University of Bristol representative for the national Turnitin User Group

Integrated e-Learning Systems Project Manager,elements of the project include:

• deployment of the Content and Community systems
• eReserves
• WebCT migration
• encouraging and embedding best practice in assignment submission

As an e-Learning Advisor I have taught on the TLHE and TLHP Programmes and presented nationally and internationally on the use of "web 2.0" and social media in higher education. 

Hilary will primarily act as a first point of contact for queries relating to technology-enhanced learning for the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.  Please see link for further information about Faculty Liaison roles.
