Academic Advice and Support

The Education Support Unit responds to the educational needs of faculties and schools/departments by:

supporting University, faculty and school/departmental quality assurance activities:
- school (departmental) review
- faculty quality enhancement team visits
- annual programme review
- unit and programme approval
- assessment and progression (taught programmes)
- external examining (taught programmes)
bringing professional expertise to a wide variety of queries, including keeping staff abreast of internal policy and guidance and external developments in the field of education;
being proactive in helping committees and groups to introduce new developments and supporting them in University and faculty-centred initiatives;
sharing good practice between different disciplines;
