Personal Tutoring at Bristol

Consultation on the future of undergraduate Student Support, including Personal Tutoring, at the University of Bristol

A draft approach for the future of undergraduate personal tutoring [pdf, 641kb] was developed, following discussions between the undergraduate Faculty Education Directors, the Students’ Union and the relevant Support Services, and presented for consultation to obtain the views of colleagues around the University.

The responses will be considered at the May meeting of the University Undergraduate Studies Committee, before a report is presented to Education Committee and Senate for approval.

Regulations for Personal Tutors, with related additional support and guidance

The University of Bristol places students at the heart of its activities and is committed to providing effective personal tutoring for all students on taught programmes.  The Regulations for Personal Tutors [pdf] provide regulatory advice and support for departments, personal tutors and students about how to make personal tutoring work for all involved and are intended to promote consistency in personal tutoring across the University.
