Unit 2: Diversity and Inclusion - an online activity
Staff must also carry out a presentation after completing units 1 - 5, which also carries 10 credits.
The programme is mapped onto the UK Professional Standards Framework for teaching and supporting learning in higher education (UKPSF) which the units are mapped against.
You may complete an Option Unit/s for professional development. These units are also mapped against the UKPSF.
If you are following the accredited pathway, the Option Units will not contribute to the PGCertHE, however, through successful completion of Option Units further credits can be gained and may be used to progress to PG Diploma.
Technology enhanced learning (TEL) - this module requires attendance at two half-day sessions
The Open unit is designed to allow participants to choose an area of study connected with teaching and learning in higher education. Currently, there are two ways to undertake the Open module:
Attend one of our lunchtime workshops and use that as a basis for supervised individual study. Other staff development courses, either at Bristol or elsewhere, can be used as a starting point for this module.
Choose your own area of study connected with teaching and learning in higher education.
We are not currently offering teaching sessions for the modules listed below. However, they can be undertaken as supervised individual study and submitted under the Open Unit.
