Laboratory-based Teaching & Learning
The Open unit is designed to allow participants to choose an area of study connected with teaching and learning in higher education. Currently, there are two ways to undertake the Open module:
Attend one of our lunchtime workshops and use that as a basis for supervised individual study. Other staff development courses, either at Bristol or elsewhere, can be used as a starting point for this module.
Choose your own area of study connected with teaching and learning in higher education.
We are not currently offering teaching sessions for the modules listed below. However, they can be undertaken as supervised individual study and submitted under the Open Unit.
Unit 6: Develop More Than Knowledge: Embedding Skills In the Curriculum
Unit 7: Dealing With Diversity
Unit 9: Widening Access & Participation
