Psychology at the University of Bristol ranked joint 40th in the world in the QS Subject Rankings 2018

The University of Bristol has been ranked among the top 50 of world institutions for Psychology in this year's QS rankings.

The School of Experimental Psychology are pleased to announce that the University of Bristol has been ranked among the top 50 of world institutions for Psychology in this year's QS rankings. These rankings take into account academic and employer measures of reputation and indices of research quality. 

Specifically, Psychology at Bristol came joint 40th in the world rankings this year, moving up from our position within the 51st - 100th category in recent years. 

Professor Chris Jarrold, Head of School, said “This rise in the QS rankings indicates the strength of psychological research and teaching here at the University of Bristol.  Our impact is noted by academic colleagues across the world, and employers recognize the quality of our fantastic graduates.  Both reflect extremely well on the academic and support staff within the School”
