Summary

Biography

I have a background in psychology and neuroscience with a primary research focus on studying the human visual system. My research focuses on how we gather and process visual information in the world and coordinate visuo-motor behavior, and biological and computational models that can explain this behavior. Since July 2016, I have worked with Drs. Casimir Ludwig, Iain Gilchrist, Dima Aldamen, and Walterio Mayol on the EPSRC sponsored project GLANCE. As a graduate student, I worked on visual multi-tasking with Mary Hayhoe and Dana Ballard at the University of Texas at Austin’s Center for Perceptual Systems.  I worked as a Rachel C. Atkinson Research Fellow studying visual attention and eye movements in macular degeneration at Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute in San Francisco, CA, under the supervision of Laura Walker. Additionally, I worked at Tobii AB as a Experienced Researcher in the LanPercept ITN, part of the Marie Curie Actions focused on gaze contingent experiments in psycholinguistics.
