Dr Hannah Sallis

Biography

I am a postdoctoral reseacher based within both the MRC Integrative Epidemiology Unit (IEU) and School of Experimental Psychology, and the Centre of Academic Mental Health (CAMH) and the School of Social and Community Medicine.

My current research within Professor Marcus Munafo's programme of the MRC IEU focuses on investigating causal risk factors for a number of mental health outcomes using Mendelian randomization techniques. My research within CAMH investigates the relationship between prenatal adversity and later childhood mental health.

Prior to this role I gained a BSc in Statistics from University College London and an MSc in Medical Statistics from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. I completed my PhD investigating causal risk factors for adolescent depression at the University of Bristol in 2016.
