Experiment details
- This study involves completing a computer-based task during two inhalations: normal air and air enriched with carbon dioxide
- Inhalation of CO2 enriched air may temporarily produce feelings of anxiety, headaches and breathlessness in some people, but does not cause lasting harm
- One 2.5 hour testing session
- Your time will be reimbursed
Inclusion criteria
- Males and females, 18-55, no daily smokers, generally healthy. Females should not be pregnant.
- Do not suffer from asthma or migraines
- No past, present or family history of anxiety disorder
