If you live with a partner, you will also need to provide your partner’s financial details. Incomplete applications will delay the assessment of an application.

You will be required to provide written evidence of your childcare costs from the childcare provider(s) for the duration of the academic year.

Application dates

You can apply from September.

The closing date for application is Friday 9th December 2016 for the 2016/17 academic year.

How applications are assessed

Once all applications have been received and the deadline has passes, the very limited funds will be shared amongst applicants dependant on need. There is no guarantee of an award. You will be informed of the outcome of your application by the end of January.

Applications will be considered on an individual basis by a panel of staff. Childcare payments will not normally be paid if a partner is available to provide childcare.

You will receive a notification letter explaining the outcome of your application.
