Welcome to the French Society

This year the French society has many exciting things planned for anyone interested in French culture - you don’t need to be doing a language degree to join!

As always, we will be running regular conversation evenings with the Erasmix society so you can practise speaking to real French people! We’ll be joining up with more societies than ever before to offer you a varied mix of social events: film nights, wine tasting (and drinking), and intramural sports. There’s the trip to Paris to look forward to after Christmas, and of course the Modern Languages Ball at the end of the year. In the meantime, there will be plenty of joint languages bar crawls and socials to keep you busy – always a great way to meet new people – and we’ll be sure to let you know about all the French cultural events going on in Bristol.
