THE SCHOOL OF MODERN LANGUAGES  YEAR ABROAD PHOTOGRAPHY PRIZE

Closing date: 30 May 2012 

We would like to encourage everyone on their Year Abroad
to keep a photographic record of the most challenging,
but also the most enjoyable, year of the degree programme.

For this purpose we invite students to enter their best photographs in the competition in the following categories:

a. PEOPLE

b. PLACES OF INTEREST 

c. THE UNEXPECTED

Guidelines:

Submission:

Each student can enter one photograph for each category.

Photographs must be attached to an email marked ‘Picture the year abroad’ as jpg. image files and sent to: sml-yaphoto@bris.ac.uk

Each entry should include the student’s name and degree programme as well as the location, date and title of the picture.

Prizes:

The winner of each category will receive a cash prize and will have his/her photo uploaded on the School/Departmental website. The winners will be announced on the School website in week 10 of TB1.

Additional info:

Full copyright remains with the photographer. However, by entering the competition you agree to give full permission to the University of Bristol to publish the images online, in printed material, at open days and other public events, without charge.

We will not use any personal information provided by you without your consent and we will not pass any such information to a third party. However, please note that all eligible entries may be uploaded onto the University website, where they may be available for general viewing (www.bris.ac.uk/sml/)
