Postgraduate study

For those who want to prepare for postgraduate research or commission and use research in the workplace, we deliver specialist taught masters programmes that provide a strong grounding in critical thinking and research methodologies. Our vocational masters programmes provide continuous professional development in education, legal studies and social work.

There is also plenty on offer for future research postgraduate researchers with access to studentships, supervision from world-class experts and excellent facilities on our PhD and doctoral programmes.

The South West Doctoral Training Centre (SWDTC) also has it's own Placements Officer who can assist students with finding placements within their specialised industry. Students are encouraged to take up placements which will not only benifit their research but also provide them with valuable industry experience.
