Thinking Futures is part of the Economic and Social Research Council's national Festival of Social Science.
Following four years of successful festivals, we are pleased to announce that the fifth Thinking Futures will take place on the 5-12 November 2016.
Thinking Futures is the University's festival to share and celebrate research in the social sciences. With a wide variety of events for the general public, schools, policy-makers and third sector organisations, it provides an opportunity to see how the social sciences inform key debates and advances in policy and practice for governments, education, charities, health services, legal systems, and public services around the globe. It is part of the national ESRC's Festival of Social Sciences.
This year, we particularly welcome expressions of interest from academics who wish to create events that generate outcomes beyond the initial activity.
If you are interested in holding an event, please read the TF 2016 Guidance for Academics (Office document, 441kB) and fill in an expression of interest form (TF 2016 Expressions of Interest (Office document, 441kB). We invite expressions of interest from researchers at all stages. For all enquiries please contact Kat Wall in the Public Engagement team (email@example.com, 0117 3317016)
