The School congratulates Emeritus Professor Peter Haggett on his four recent books
19 October 2012
Professor Peter Haggett's new volume on '
The Quantocks: Biography of An English Region' is described as 'an affectionate biography of a deeply fascinating but often overlooked corner of England's rich and varied countryside'. Profits on sales go to
Friends of Quantock.
Also re-issued by Routledge, under their so-called 'Routledge Revivals' programme, is the classic
Routledge 'Models in Geography', written with Richard Chorley and first published in 1967. This time the book has been released in three separate hardback volumes rather than the original rather large single volume. It is described as 'representing a robustly anti-idiographic statement of modern work in one of the major branches of geography'.
