Dr Emma Stone

In 2005 I completed an MEarthSci at Oxford University specialising in geochemistry and geophysics. I have always been fascinated by weather and so accepted a NERC studentship at Reading University and undertook a Masters degree in Applied Meteorology in 2006.  From 2006 until 2010 I completed a NERC-funded PhD in the School of Geographical Sciences, here at Bristol, on palaeoclimate modelling of the Greenland ice sheet. I am currently working in Geographical Sciences as a Senior Research Associate on the ERC-funded project T-GRES.  I have previously worked on the NERC consortium iGlass and the European FP7 project Past4Future.
